Azure Cloud Fundamentals
Learn to describe cloud concepts, core Azure services, security and identity fundamentals, and governance and cost management principles as you prepare for the AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification exam.
Details
This training prepares you for the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification, which validates your foundational knowledge of cloud concepts, core Azure services, and Azure management and governance at an entry level. The program follows the official Microsoft curriculum and covers core technical domains measured on the exam: Azure Cloud Concepts, Azure Architecture and Services and Azure Management.
You will learn how to describe cloud computing concepts including high availability, scalability, elasticity, agility, and disaster recovery; identify core Azure architectural components such as regions, availability zones, resource groups, and subscriptions; and explore Azure compute, networking, storage, and database services. The training also addresses security and identity fundamentals, governance methodologies including Azure Policy and role-based access control (RBAC), and cost management principles to optimize cloud spending.
By completing this program, you will develop the foundational understanding required to confidently pursue role-based Azure certifications such as AZ-104: Azure Administrator or AI-200: Azure AI Cloud Developer. The certification demonstrates to employers and academic institutions that you comprehend cloud fundamentals, understand how Azure services support business transformation, and can make informed decisions about cloud solutions based on security, compliance, pricing, and support considerations.
