Introduction To UML
This lesson introduces the Unified Modeling Language (UML), explaining what it is, why it is useful for visualizing system architectures, and its key attributes of being visual, abstract, descriptive, and standard. It covers the structural elements of a UML design, the predefined business system and IT system models with their respective external/internal and static/dynamic views, and concludes with an overview of the most important diagram types including component, class, sequence, state, activity, layer, and use case diagrams.
